I'm a mom who places sentimental value on the tiniest of things. So when I had my first baby you'd better believe that I had every card, every baby bump picture, every doctor receipt and ultrasound carefully preserved. Only one problem - they were kept in a box never to be seen! Every time I went to my closet for a sweater it would make me sad to see that plastic box filled with beautiful cards and photos not to be seen by anyone else.
That's when I decided to create my very first collage using the cards I received from my baby shower to decorate my new baby's room. I found these great paper mache letters that spelled my daughter's name - Olive - and started glueing away.
Everyone that saw them in Olive's room wanted one of their own and before I knew it, I was being given bags and boxes of peoples carefully stored baby shower cards, graduation cards, wrapping paper from their wedding gifts and birthdays - all from people who wanted their memories taken out of their closets and displayed in their homes.
Since then I've loved being part of people's memories. I'd love to create a memento for anyone who would like their precious keepsakes preserved and displayed for all to see!
